Oregon Food Bank is changing the registration system for all of their associated food pantries. We are transitioning from Link2Feed to Feeding America’s Service Insights on Meal Connect.

East County Food Pantry has been implementing this change since our food pantry service on April 4th, 2026.

On April 18th registration will operate a little differently by prioritizing our neighbors that have yet to receive their new SIMC card.

If you have previously registered for Link2Feed or have a Link2Feed card AND you have visited East County Food Pantry since November 1st, 2025, the IT staff at East County Food Pantry should have imported your Link2Feed information for your entire household into the new Service Insights on Meal Connect (SIMC) system.

If you haven’t yet registered you can click here to register and your information will get transferred to SIMC after your next visit to East County Food Pantry. You only need to fill this registration form one time.

Just a heads up. While our Registration Volunteers begin using this new system, registration may take a few minutes longer for each neighbor. We appreciate your patience while we work out the kinks.

Here is some extra information about the conversion to SIMC:

We’re changing from Link2Feed to a new check in program

  • The new program is called Service Insights on MealConnect, or SIMC. Like Link2Feed, SIMC allows us to safely and privately collect basic information to better understand the needs in our communities.
  • We may need to create a new profile for you in SIMC if you have not previously registered. You can register on our website,or you can fill out a paper form.
  • This information helps us improve services, but participating in digital intake is not required to receive food. There is also an option to be marked as anonymous in SIMC, so you can choose to not share identifying information, such as your name.
  • You’ll only need to set up your profile once and then you’ll be able to check in faster on future visits.
  • Only one form per household and please include all household members.
  • You’ll be given a new SIMC card, which you can use for faster check in.
  • Please let us know if you have questions!

We are pleased to announce that the East County Food Pantry has joined a select group of other pantries. They aim to supply food for the children and their families. This support is provided when the children are released from the Doernbecher Hospital For Children. The newborn unit is also at OHSU. The families can pick up their food on the way home from the hospital.

Alternatively, we will deliver the food to their home. We expect about 4-5 deliveries per month which we will ask people who live in the area to deliver. We will service the areas of Sandy and Corbett alongside the rest of the East County that we currently serve. This way the families of sick children can have food at home while their child recuperates. It’s a great way to support sick children and their families. They won’t need to worry about not having enough food at home when their child leaves the hospital.

Parents need to ask for food from our pantry through Doernbecher or OHSU. Speak with your social worker at the hospital to learn the process. You need to do this 2 days before your child is expected to be released.
